# How Your Profile works

## Overview
The **Profile** page allows you to manage your personal account settings, security preferences, notifications, appearance, and early access features. It also provides quick access to your subscription details and company resources.
These settings are specific to your user account and help personalize your PadPulse experience.


## Access Your Profile
Click your **Profile** to access your account settings.
From this page, you can manage:
* Personal information
* Dashboard stage
* Company SOP links
* Subscription information
* Time zone
* Notifications
* Security settings
* Appearance
* Early Access features

## Update Personal Information
The **Personal Information** section allows you to update your account details.
You can edit:
* Name
* Email address
* Phone number
Changes take effect after they are saved.


## Manage Your Dashboard Stage
PadPulse uses onboarding stages to guide users through different parts of the platform.
From your profile, you can:
* Change your current onboarding stage.
* Update what is displayed on your dashboard.
* Restore the onboarding guide if you previously dismissed it by selecting **Show Your Help**.
This can be useful if you want to revisit earlier onboarding steps or continue learning new features.


## Add Company SOP Links
The **Company SOP Links** section allows you to store links to your organization's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
These links are available throughout the platform, making it easier for you and your team to quickly reference internal documentation when completing tasks.


## View Subscription Information
Your current subscription plan is displayed on the Profile page.
Selecting your subscription plan opens the **Billing** page, where you can:
* View your subscription details.
* Compare plans.
* Manage billing information.


## Set Your Time Zone
Choose your preferred time zone to ensure dates, reminders, and scheduled events are displayed correctly throughout the platform.


## Manage Notifications
The **Notifications** section allows you to customize which alerts you receive.
Available notification settings may vary depending on your subscription plan.


## Security Settings
The **Security** section lets you manage your account security.
You can:
* Create or change your password.
* Continue using the default six-digit email verification code for login.
* Enable **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)** for additional account security.
* View active login sessions.
* Manage trusted devices.
* Sign out of active sessions when needed.
> **Tip:** PadPulse recommends enabling Two-Factor Authentication for owner accounts and users managing multiple properties.


## Customize Appearance
Choose how PadPulse is displayed by selecting one of the available appearance options:
* Light Mode
* Dark Mode
* Follow System Settings


## Manage Early Access Features
The **Early Access** section allows you to participate in beta testing for new PadPulse features.
From this page, you can:
* View available beta programs.
* Enable eligible early access features.
* Disable beta features if desired.
As new functionality is released, additional programs may become available.


## Important Notes
* Personal information, including your email address and phone number, can be updated from your Profile.
* You can change your onboarding stage and restore the dashboard guide at any time.
* Company SOP links provide quick access to internal documentation throughout the platform.
* Subscription details link directly to the **Billing** page.
* Notification options may vary depending on your subscription plan.
* The Security section includes password management, Two-Factor Authentication, trusted devices, and active sessions.
* Early Access allows eligible users to enable or disable beta features.
