# Members & Vehicles

## Overview
The **Members** and **Vehicles** sections provide centralized management for residents and their registered vehicles. You can quickly locate members, filter them by property or status, view occupancy details, import off-platform residents, and search for registered vehicles across your portfolio.
These tools make it easier to manage resident information and respond to parking or vehicle-related inquiries.


## Members Dashboard
Navigate to **Members** to view all residents associated with your portfolio.
The Members dashboard allows you to:
* View all members across your properties.
* Filter members by a specific property.
* Search for individual members.
* View occupancy and member information.

## Filter Members
You can filter members by several criteria, including:
* **Property**
* **Member Type**
    * PadSplit members
    * Direct (off-PadSplit) members
    * All members

* **Status**
    * Active
    * Pending
    * Inactive
    * Archived
* 
Archived records may include:
* Former residents who have moved out.
* Inquiries received through Direct Bookings that are no longer active.

## View Member Details
Each member record displays important information, including:
* Assigned property
* Room assignment
* Current status
* Payment status
* Move-in date
* Length of stay (tenure)
Within each property, members are ranked by tenure, allowing you to quickly identify who has lived at the property the longest.
> **Note:** The transcript indicates that member ratings and late payment history are planned to sync from PadSplit in a future update.


## Import Off-PadSplit Members
If you manage direct bookings or properties outside of PadSplit, you can import residents in bulk.
To import members:
1. Download the member import template.
2. Complete the template with your existing resident information.
3. Upload the completed file.
This allows you to manage both PadSplit and non-PadSplit residents from a single dashboard.


## Vehicles Dashboard
Navigate to **Vehicles** to view all registered resident vehicles.
You can display:
* Vehicles assigned to a specific property.
* Vehicles across your entire portfolio.


## Search for Vehicles
The Vehicles page includes a powerful search feature.
You can search by information such as:
* Vehicle make
* Vehicle color
* Property
For example, if you need to identify a **blue Kia**, simply search for "Kia" or the vehicle's color to locate the matching record.
This is especially useful when responding to parking concerns or neighbor inquiries.


## Contact the Vehicle Owner
After locating a vehicle, you can open the associated member record and send them a message directly through PadPulse.
This allows you to quickly contact residents about:
* Moving a vehicle
* Parking issues
* Vehicle registration questions
* Other property-related concerns


## Important Notes
* Members can be filtered by property, member type, and status.
* The dashboard displays move-in dates, tenure, payment status, and room assignments.
* Bulk import is available for residents managed outside of PadSplit.
* Vehicles can be searched by make, color, and property.
* After locating a vehicle, you can message the associated resident directly from their profile.
* Member ratings and late payment history are planned to sync from PadSplit in a future update.
