Adding and Assigning Credit Cards in Vendor Settings

Overview

The Vendor Settings page allows you to securely store credit cards and assign them to individual properties. These card assignments are used when paying vendors, ensuring that payments are automatically charged to the correct card for each property.
Credit card information is securely stored through Stripe.

Add a Credit Card

1. Navigate to Vendor Settings.
2. Select Add Card.
3. Enter your credit card information.
4. Save the card.

Once added, the card is securely stored using Stripe.

Edit a Card Nickname

To make cards easier to identify, you can assign a nickname to each card.
For example, you might name a card after:

• A property
• A business account
• A specific purpose

You can update the nickname at any time.

Set a Default Card

One credit card can be designated as your default payment method.
To change the default card:

1. Locate the desired card.
2. Select Set as Default.

The default card will be used unless a different card has been assigned to a specific property.

Assign Credit Cards to Properties

You can assign a different credit card to each property.
To assign a card:

1. Scroll to the Property Assignments section.
2. Select a property.
3. Choose the credit card that should be used for that property.
4. Save your changes.

Automatic Vendor Payments

When a vendor payment is processed for a property, PadPulse automatically uses the credit card assigned to that property.
This eliminates the need to manually select a payment method each time a vendor is paid and helps ensure the correct card is charged.

Important Notes

• Credit cards are securely stored through Stripe.
• Card nicknames help identify payment methods.
• One card can be designated as the default payment method.
• Individual properties can be assigned different credit cards.
• Automatic vendor payments use the card assigned to the corresponding property.
