Booking Request Branding & Settings

Overview

The Booking Requests feature allows you to create fully customizable application forms for prospective residents. You can build reusable templates, customize branding, configure conditional questions, organize forms into multiple pages, and automate delivery using Messaging Rules.
Submitted booking requests are collected in one location, where they can be reviewed, approved, or rejected.

Access the Booking Requests Page

Navigate to Booking Requests.
The page includes two primary sections:

  • Templates – Create and manage booking request forms.
  • Submissions – Review completed applications submitted by prospective residents.

Create a Booking Request Template

To create a new template:

  1. Navigate to the Templates tab.
  2. Select New Template.
  3. Choose to start from a default template or create one from scratch.
  4. Add, edit, or remove fields as needed.
  5. Save the template.

The default template provides a comprehensive starting point, but you can simplify it by removing any questions you don't need.

Configure Conditional Questions

Templates support conditional logic, allowing questions to appear only when specific conditions are met.
For example, you can:

  • Display a question only after a previous response.
  • Require additional information based on an applicant's answer.
  • Combine multiple conditions to control when a field is shown.

This helps create shorter, more relevant application forms.

Organize Forms into Multiple Pages

Instead of displaying all questions on one screen, you can organize forms into multiple pages.
To do this:

  1. Add additional pages.
  2. Move questions between pages.
  3. Remove pages if they are no longer needed.

Multi-page forms can improve the applicant experience by presenting information in smaller sections.

Customize Branding

Booking request templates can use either:

  • Your account's default branding, or
  • Template-specific branding that overrides the default.

For each template, you can customize:

  • Brand name
  • Logo
  • Primary color
  • Additional branding information

This allows different properties or portfolios to have unique application experiences if needed.

Preview and Share Templates

After creating a template, you can:

  • Preview the applicant experience.
  • Copy the template link.
  • Share the form manually.
  • Use the link within automated messaging workflows.

The copied template link is commonly used with Messaging Rules to automatically send booking requests to prospective residents.

Available Question Types

Booking request forms support a wide variety of field types, including:

  • Text fields
  • Multiple-choice questions
  • File uploads
  • Photo uploads
  • Camera capture
  • Video recording
  • Consent checkboxes
  • Background check authorization

For identity verification, applicants can be asked to:

  • Capture a live photo.
  • Photograph their driver's license.
  • Confirm their identity through guided image capture.

Automate Booking Requests

Booking request templates integrate with Messaging Rules.
You can create automation rules that:

  1. Trigger when specific events occur.
  2. Automatically send the appropriate booking request template.
  3. Use different templates for different properties.

This allows each property to have its own customized booking request workflow.

Review Submissions

Completed booking requests appear in the Submissions section.
From there, you can:

  • Open an application.
  • Review all submitted responses.
  • Review uploaded files, photos, and videos.
  • Approve or reject the applicant.

All submissions are organized in one centralized location for easy review.

Important Notes

  • Templates can be created from scratch or based on a default template.
  • Conditional logic allows questions to appear only when specific criteria are met.
  • Forms can be divided into multiple pages for a better applicant experience.
  • Individual templates can override your account's default branding.
  • Booking request links can be used with Messaging Rules to automate application requests.
  • Submissions can be reviewed and approved or rejected directly from the Booking Requests page.
