Trash Service: Curb to Curb Overview
Overview
The Trash Service feature integrates with Crew Home to provide curb-to-curb trash collection services for your properties. Crew Home services thousands of properties across the United States by moving trash cans to the curb before collection, documenting the service with photos, and returning the cans after pickup.
You can enroll properties in recurring service or submit one-time, on-demand pickup requests directly through PadPulse.
View Service Coverage
Before enrolling a property, verify that it is located within the service area.
To check coverage:
- Navigate to Trash Service.
- Select Coverage Map.
- Review whether your property falls within the supported service area.
If a property is outside the service area, PadPulse will prevent enrollment and on-demand service requests.
Enroll a Property in Recurring Service
To enroll a property:
- Navigate to Enrollments.
- Select Enroll Property.
- Choose the property.
- Enter the property's regular trash collection day.
- Specify the number of trash cans.
- If applicable, add a second weekly pickup (such as recycling or an additional collection day).
- Confirm the enrollment.
Crew Home automatically adjusts pickup schedules for holidays, so no manual changes are required.
Service Pricing
Recurring service is billed monthly.
Current pricing includes:
- $50/month for one pickup per week.
- $65/month for two pickups per week.
Charges are automatically added to your PadPulse billing account.
Service Activation
After enrollment, it typically takes up to two weeks for a property to be added to Crew Home's service route.
Once active, recurring service records will appear in the Trash Service dashboard.
View Completed Jobs
The Jobs section displays completed trash service visits.
For each job, you can review:
- Property
- Service date
- Uploaded service photos
- Completion history
Photos are uploaded by the pickup team to verify that service was completed.
Submit an On-Demand Pickup Request
In addition to recurring service, you can request a one-time pickup.
To create an on-demand request:
- Select On-Demand Request.
- Choose the property.
- Select the preferred service date.
- Choose the urgency level.
- Specify the trash location.
- Enter a description of the request.
- Upload a photo of the trash or pickup location.
- Add any additional notes.
- Review the payment method.
- Submit the request.
On-demand requests are useful for:
- Bulk trash removal
- Overflow trash
- Special cleanup requests
Billing for On-Demand Requests
By default, PadPulse charges the credit card assigned to the property in Vendor Settings.
You may choose a different payment method if needed.
The standard on-demand request begins with a $100 charge.
If Crew Home determines additional work is required, the final cost may be higher based on the scope of the pickup.
Email Notifications
When an on-demand request is submitted:
- An email is sent to Crew Home.
- The requestor receives a copy.
- The property owner (when applicable) is copied.
- PadPulse Support is copied for visibility if assistance is needed.
Crew Home will follow up with confirmation by email.
View Billing History
The Billing section displays charges associated with:
- Recurring trash service
- On-demand pickup requests
You can review billing activity by property and service request.
Important Notes
- Crew Home provides curb-to-curb trash service by moving trash cans to and from the curb.
- Service availability depends on the property's location within the coverage area.
- Holiday pickup schedules are adjusted automatically.
- New recurring enrollments may take up to two weeks to become active.
- Completed jobs include photo verification uploaded by the service team.
- On-demand requests require a description and are best submitted with a photo.
- Property payment methods are pulled from Vendor Settings by default.
- On-demand requests begin at $100, but additional charges may apply depending on the amount of work required.
