Property Details Page — Overview & Tour

Overview

The Property Details page is the central hub for managing all information related to a specific property. From this page, you can view and edit property status, manage rooms, generate AI-enhanced listing images, access the property knowledge base, track devices and appliances, review documents, and navigate to related areas of the system such as financials, maintenance, and members.

Property Header & Status

At the top of the page, you will find:

• Map view showing the property location.
• Current property status — you can change the status directly from this page.
• Options to archive, delete, or mark the property as sold.
• Room count and bedroom count.
• Floorplan link for storing the property floor plan.
• General property info: Wi-Fi credentials, timezone, and other key details.
• PadSplit Property ID — this field auto-syncs when the property is officially launched on PadSplit (matched by address). You cannot fill this in manually.

Multi-Unit Properties

Properties with multiple units (e.g., a primary unit and a secondary unit on the same lot) can be linked together:

• One property is set as the parent property; additional units are added from this page.
• Linking units is important for the financial pages — since a single mortgage typically spans all units, tying them together ensures correct financial reporting.
• Each unit can still maintain its own Wi-Fi details, floor plan, and other unit-specific information.

Property Groups & AI Insights

You can assign a property group to each property. When filtering by property group across the platform, only properties in the selected group will appear. The page also includes an AI Insights section (currently in beta) that will surface relevant intelligence about the property.

Navigation Links to Other Areas

The Property Details page contains quick-links to other sections of the platform. Each link pre-filters results to the current property:

• Members — view all members currently assigned to this property.
• Administrators — manage property-level admins.
• Financials — view income and expenses associated with this property.
• Maintenance — view and manage maintenance tickets for this property.
• Supplies — track supplies ordered or used at this property.
• Furnishings — manage furniture inventory.
• Trash — manage waste-related records.

Rooms

The Rooms section displays all rooms within the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces. Key features include:

• Room type classification (bedroom, bathroom, common area, exterior, etc.).
• Bathroom association — link a bathroom to one or more rooms. If linked to a single room, it is marked private; if linked to multiple rooms, it is marked shared.
• Room descriptions — store the listing description for each room, making it easy to find, edit, and later upload to PadSplit.
• Room images — upload photos directly to each room (see Image Generation below).
• PadSplit Room ID and Room Listing ID — these auto-sync once the property goes live on PadSplit.
• Room dimensions — store actual measurements (e.g., 9 x 12 ft) instead of generic size labels.
• Additional notes — any free-form notes about the room.
• Shadow rooms — if a room is shared by two occupants, you can shadow it to another room to indicate the relationship. Shadows can be unlinked at any time.
• Filtering — filter rooms by type (bedroom, bathroom, common space, etc.).
• Adding rooms — click the add button, set the room type and bedroom designation, and save.

Image Generation

The Image Generation tab allows you to create AI-enhanced listing images for each room. Steps:

• Select a room and switch from Room Data to Image Generation.
• Upload a base photo of the room.
• Select a prompt — default prompts are provided, or go to Settings > Prompts to create and manage custom prompts.
